BASC Council Elections 2022

Elections to BASC Council and notice of Annual General Meeting 2022

As a BASC member, you can play your part in ensuring the Association benefits from the best possible governance by voting in this year’s Council elections. The latest issue of Shooting and Conservation includes a ballot form, instructions on how to vote to elect your representative to BASC Council and a pre-paid envelope.

Candidates for election to BASC Council

There are four candidates standing for one national seat and one candidate standing for one Welsh country seat.

Each candidate was invited to provide up to 500 words, addressing how their personal qualities and experience would benefit BASC Council and their aspirations as Council members.

Please take time to read the full candidate statements below.

Your voting papers, including a unique code you will need to register your vote online, is included with the March/April edition of Shooting and Conservation Magazine.

Once you have your code can vote for your candidate here or by returning the freepost ballot form included with the magazine. All votes must be submitted by 10:30am on Wednesday 18 May 2022.

Both members in a BASC joint membership category can vote. There is only one set of voting papers included in the magazine for the primary member. Joint members will receive their set of ballot papers by direct mail next week.

If you haven’t received your voting papers by Friday 25 March 2022, and you prefer to vote that way, please contact the independent scrutineers’ election team by email here or by telephone on 0345 209 3770.
